David Anderson. David died on July 16, 1993.
His obituary: David A. Anderson, 38, Marietta resident. David Allen Anderson, 38, of Marietta, died Friday. Services will be 3 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church in Marietta with the Dr. Charles A. Sineath and the Rev. Kenneth Kulp officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park. The body will be at the church after 2 p.m.
A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mr. Anderson was a graduate of the University of Georgia. He worked for Crawford and Company as an accountant. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marietta, where he was also chairman of the finance committee. Survivors include his wife, Tina Harris Anderson; three daughters, Jessica Marie Anderson, Amy Leigh Anderson and Jennifer Rose Anderson, all of Marietta; parents Bennie L. and Martha Anderson of Marietta; two brothers, Michael L. Anderson and Douglas M. Anderson, both of Marietta; and paternal grandparents, the Rev. James L. and Ada Anderson of Kennesaw. Contributions can be made to the Anderson Children's Fund, First United Methodist Church, 56 Whitlock Avenue, SW, Marietta, 30064. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta is in charge of arrangements.
