His obituary: Thomas G. Acton, 52, Marietta resident. Thomas Graham Acton, 52, of Marietta died Saturday, June 2, 2007. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Tori Acton and Amalie Acton of Marietta, and Megan Acton of Sandy Springs; his mother, Barbara Acton Garrett of Kennesaw; three brothers, Steve Acton of St. Cloud, Fla., Michael Acton of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and Andrew Acton of Dallas, Ga.; four sisters, Nancy Hord of Woodstock, Mary Acton of Anderson, S.C., Linda Watson of Atlanta, and Kathryn Field of Dallas; several nephews and nieces. Contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Assoc., 235 Peachtree Center Ave., Suite 675, Atlanta, Ga 30303. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta.
