Rod Truesdell. Rod died on October 21, 2021.

His obituary: Rodman Truesdell, Sr. Rodman Dale Truesdell Senior was born on November 13th, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He died in Marietta, Georgia at the age of 67. Preceding his death were his parents Theodore Dewitt Truesdell and Marian Wahl. Rod moved to Marietta, Georgia as a child with his mother and four brothers after his parents divorced. After graduating from Sprayberry High School, he entered into the furniture repair business, and later married Judye Ellen Amos. Rod was a born salesman and would make the transition from repair to the sales floor with Mayo Wholesale Furniture Company. During this time, he would father five children Rodman Dale Junior, Dustin Ryan, Shelly Lane, Whitney Kay, and Paul Jordan. Rod spent 20 years as the drummer for Gracepoint Baptist Church and served as Deacon. Rod spent the last 10 years self employed as a furniture repairman for upscale furniture boutiques in the metro Atlanta area. He was dedicated to the highest level of service for his beloved clients. Rod is survived by his son Rodman Dale Truesdell Junior, daughters Shelly Lane Truesdell, Whitney Truesdell Avritt, his two grandchildren Pamela Sauve & Zaccheous McGirt, along with brothers Jeffrey Truesdell and Alan Truesdell.
