His obituary: Russell Drummond, 42, Marietta mechanic. Russell Joseph Drummond, 42, of Marietta, died Tuesday. Services will be noon Friday, at Medford-Peden Funeral Home, with the Revs. Lamar Haney and Pat Bishop officiating Burial will be in Georgia Memorial Park. A Green County, Ohio, native, Mr. Drummond lived in Woodstock and Marietta for 26 years. He was a mechanic for a grading contractor. Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Andrea Drummond and Stacey Angela Drummond, both of Marietta; parents, Russell and Fran Drummond of Marietta; sister, Roberta Drummond King of Jonesboro; brother, Ronald Andrew Drummond of Marietta; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
