December 7, 1953 – February 12, 2021. Mrs. Marcine Patterson Jacobs, age 67, of Kennesaw, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Camp Memorial Park Cemetery in Fayetteville. Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Lee and Katie Olean Patterson. Surviving are her loving husband Lewis Jacobs, daughter Laurie Lane (Jeff) of Stockbridge, sister Martha Lackey of Smyrna, niece and nephew Julie Lackey and Duane Lackey. Mrs. Jacobs retired from Georgia’s Own Credit Union after a thirty-two year career. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, going to craft shows, and cooking. She was an avid cat-lover and loved old-time gospel hymns. Mrs. Jacobs was a living example of the spirit of Galatians 5:22-23 which says: But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control; against such things there is no law.
