Her obituary: Deborah Hill Sartain, March 7, 1953 – July 3, 2024. Deborah Deb Anne Hill-Sartain, 71, of Marietta, GA passed away Wednesday July 3, 2024. Deb was of Baptist Faith. She was a graduate of Sprayberry High School class of 1971. She worked as a school teacher for many years and retired as a painter. Some of the things she loved were family, friends, doing puzzles, and going to the beach and casino. She always had a project to work on! Survivors include her sister, Sheila Huffman; nephew, John Huffman (Jaime); nieces, Lori Huffman (Miles) and Christy Dixon; stepdaughter, Shannon Stallard; great nieces and nephews, Emily Huffman (Ian), Marlee Huffman, Malia, Kaia, Nani, Kalani, Kaili, and Nalu Garduque, Steven Dixon (Mollie), Cole Flancher, and Bre Dixon; granddaughter, Presley Stallard; several cousins; a host of Family by Choice ; and many friends. Deb was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Skip Sartain; parents, Shelby and John Hill; and brother-in-law, Larry Huffman. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
