His obituary: Dennis Rickey Crumbley, February 5, 1950 – June 30, 2025. Dennis "Rick" Crumbley, age 75, of Acworth, GA passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. He is a retired Sergeant with the Cobb County Police Department and after retirement he was Security for WellStar Health Care. Rick graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1968, attended Kennesaw Jr. College, Georgia Southern College and graduated from Georgia State with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. He was a longtime member at Noonday Baptist Church and is currently a member of Macland Baptist Church. Rick is preceded in death by his parents; Samuel and Mary Crumbley. He is survived by his Wife; Jeanne Crumbly, two Children; Elizabeth, William (Amy), four Grandchildren; Logan, Shaylynn, Anna and Sebastian, three Brothers; Ron, Sam and Curtis Crumbley. Stepchildren: Andy (Pam), Matthew (Thom) and several nieces and nephews. Visitation and Funeral Services for Rick will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Macland Baptist Church, 3732 Macland Rd. Powder Springs, GA 30127. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until Service time at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park with Cobb Police Honors. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made to Noonday Association Builders for Christ at noondaynet.org in Rick's name.
