His obituary: Lawrence Allen Bagley, July 28, 1943 – August 21, 2024. Lawrence Larry Allen Bagley (Mr. B to his friends), age 81, passed away on August 21st, 2024, at Columbus Hospice. He was born July 28th, 1943, in El Paso Texas, to the late George W. Bagley and Bertha Lay Bagley. His passing was also preceded by the passing of his younger sister Betty Elsner. Larry leaves behind his wife Betty Bagley, and his three children Cindy Burkett, Larry Bagley, and Stephanie Carmoega. Larry also has 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Larry served this country that he's always loved in Vietnam during his 4 years of service in the US Navy aboard the USS Kearsarge, then later in the US Army where he retired as an instructor for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle at the rank of Sergeant First Class. After retiring from the Army, Larry began a career as a forge press operator at Pratt and Whitney. He sought to advance the knowledge and skill he attained prior to his army career in paint and bodywork and received a diploma from Columbus Technical College in Automotive Body Collision Repair. His first passion has always been his family, but he enjoyed playing with their miniature Schnauzers, Milly and Ginger. His favorite pastime hobbies were bringing his ideas to life through woodworking and growing fruit trees and other plants. Condolences may be expressed online at www.mckoon.com. Larry's funeral service will be held on Monday, August 26th, 2024 at 12:00pm in the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Daly officiating.
