His obituary: William Stanley Nix, August 31, 1939 – April 16, 2021. William Stanley Nix 81 of Marietta, GA passed peacefully April 16th 2021 at 11:00 AM at Wellstar Cobb Tranquility. He is survived by his son Shannon Nix and his wife Melinda of Marietta and daughter Alicia Pace and her husband Kim of Locust Grove. Grandchildren include Allen, Caroline and Emily Pace and Abbey, Rachel, Sterling, Hunter and Chandler Nix. He is also survived by his sister Frances Dow and her husband James of Hoover, AL. A Private graveside service for immediate family will be held May 8th 2021. Please send condolences to 4951 Willow Cove Way Marietta, GA 30066. Stanley began his lifelong career in Real Estate at Jackson And King and retired from Century 21 as an Appraiser. His favorite vacation spot was Pawleys Island which was referred to by the natives as Arrogantly Shabby . If you ever make it out there raise a can of PBR and think of Stan, he will be smiling at you.
