Her obituary: Carmen Norton Hale, 69 – Carmen Norton Hale, 69, a Kennesaw resident, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, February 7, 2009. She is survived by one son, Douglass Hale of Woodstock; one daughter and son–in–law, Kay and James Harvey also of Woodstock; one sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Gerald Lord of Dahlonega, GA.; several cousins and one nephew, Captain Jonathan Lord.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Medford-Peden Funeral Home with Dr. J. Perry Fowler officiating. Interment will take place at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the funeral home.
