Her obituary: Valarie Johnson, May 16, 1938 – July 4, 2014. Valarie Johnson, age 76, of Lithia Springs passed away Friday, July 4, 2014. She was born on May 16, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia. Valarie was a homemaker and a member of Lithia Springs United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Paul Johnson; parents, Virgil B. Harper and Ruth Evelynne Harper; and one sister. She is survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harry and Tracy Johnson; nephew, Timothy Johnson; niece, Angela Lynn Williams; sister-in-law, Jane Potts and brother-in-law, Bob; niece, Kelly Turner and husband Sandy, sister, Virgelynne Prewett and brother-in-law, Gene; nieces, Allison Beckler, Michelle Queen and husband Terry; great nephew, Andrew; great niece, Hayley. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 4:30 pm from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Reverend Larry Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Mozley Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 3:00 until 5:00 pm at Hightower's Memorial Chapel and on Monday, July 7, 2014 until the service time.
