His obituary: Mr Charles Lester Smith, 76. Mr. Charles Lester Smith, age 76, of Talking Rock, GA. entered into rest on Friday, September 13, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Annette Smith of Talking Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Robert Odom of Blue Ridge; brothers, Hugh Smith of Acworth, Thomas Smith of Marietta, Larry Smith of Stockbridge, Mike Smith of Dallas, Lonnie Smith of Talking Rock; sister Virginia Groover of Marietta. Mr. Smith had one grandchild, Robert Charles Odom, several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and Monday 8 a.m. until the funeral hour. The funeral service is 2 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Cagle Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerry Davis officiating. The interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
