Her obituary: Joy Jualice Holsenbeck, December 20, 1938 – March 20, 2015. Joy J. Holsenbeck, 76, of Marietta died Friday, March 20, 2015. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 1pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home with Dr. Wayne Fain officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Ms. Holsenbeck was a native of Milledgeville, GA and moved to Marietta in 2000. She retired from Roadway Express in 1996 after 30 years of service. She was a very generous person and always put others first including her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who all cherished her. She leaves behind a legacy of generosity and showed this to everyone she met. Ms. Holsenbeck loved cooking and was always furiously protective of her siblings. She was a Christian who loved the Lord and her family. Ms. Holsenbeck was a gifted organist. Survivors include her daughters, Rita Cartwright (Ray) of Marietta and Teresa Evans (Dee) of Buford; son, David Culpepper of Buford; sisters, Mindora Barnes and Rhonda Martin, both of Marietta; grandchildren, Angie Cain, Brad Cartwright, Melanie Giddens, Heather Cartwright, Amy Carty, Daniel Evans, Amanda Sayegh; great grandchildren, Scarlett Cartwright, Kayleigh Giddens, Jackson Ray Giddens, Blaine Evans, DeAnna Evans and Mackenzie Evans.
