Her obituary: Wilma J. Brackett, 50, Delta retiree – Wilma Jean Brown Brackett, 60, of Marietta died Saturday, Oct. 24.
Services will be 3 p.m. today at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta, with the Rev. Tom C. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park. A native of Williamson, W.Va., Mrs. Brackett lived in Cobb County for 50 years. She retired from the reservation department of Delta Airlines after more than 20 years service. Mrs. Brackett was a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Brackett; one son, Michael Ray Brackett of Kennesaw; her mother, Carrie Blankenship Brown of Mineola, Texas; one brother, Thomas W. Brown of North Arlington, Texas; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
