His obituary: J. Harold Page, age 68, of Kennesaw died Saturday, February 17, 2007 after a courageous battle against cancer. A life-long resident of Cobb County, he worked as a building contractor and electrician. A 1956 graduate of Sprayberry High School, he married his high school sweetheart, Rachel Popham Page. Harold and Rachel were married for 48 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Loucinda Page; brothers, Roger Page and John Page. A devoted family man, Harold is survived by his wife Rachel, son, Eddie Page and his wife Debra of Kennesaw; daughter, Vickie Page Hester and husband Alvin of Kennesaw; grandchildren, Lauren Page and Zaccary Page; step-grandchildren, Tina Beeson and Jessica Beeson. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Chapel with Pastor Randy Sharp officiating and burial will follow at Rolling Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wellstar Community Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
