Doyle C. Brown, 37, of 2694 S. Roswell Road, Marietta, died Tuesday from an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Camp Ground Methodist Church with the body placed in state at 10 a.m. The Rev. John T. Lecroy and Judge Luther C. Hames will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Cobb Judicial Circuit Bar Assoc. will serve as pallbearers and honorary escort.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Marietta and was a graduate of the John Marshall Law School. He had been a practicing attorney since 1963 and was a member of the Cobb Judicial Circuit Bar Assoc. and the Georgia Bar Assoc. He was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include, mother, Mrs. Clara Mozelle Hartsfield Brown; sister Miss Betty Brown, Atlanta; brothers, Steve Brown, Houston, Tex., Glenn, Ralph, Herbert, James Brown, all of Marietta; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Winkenhofer-McCurdy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
