APRIL 22, 1938 – AUGUST 19, 2022 – Betty Jo (Braswell) Johnson, age 84, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on August 19, 2022 with her daughter by her side. After high school, Betty and Loyce were married. They lived a long life of 64 years together. They worked hard to make a home and family of two children, Robin and Ronnie. She was a devoted wife and great mother. She and Loyce raised their children to be strong, independent, and kind individuals. Betty was a long-time member of Providence Baptist Church on Providence Road in Marietta, Georgia. Betty loved taking care of her family and home. She liked camping, water skiing and fishing. She liked working alongside Loyce in the yards and gardens. Betty and Loyce loved their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They both enjoyed spending time with their family and friends. Betty Jo Johnson is preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Ruthl Braswell; her husband, Loyce Johnson, and her son, Ronnie Johnson. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Robin Johnson Milligan (Tim); grandchildren: Randy Milligan, Kristy Milligan, and Christopher Johnson (Morgan); great- grandchildren: Katy Milligan and Riley Johnson, and many extended family members and friends. A visitation for Betty will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home.
