Dale McClure. Dale died on January 1, 1981.
His obituary: Mr. McClure. L. Dale McClure, 46, 1165 Lucky Drive, Marietta, died Thursday. Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Marietta with the Rev. Ledies Bargo and the Rev. K.B. Robertson officiating. Burial was to be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Mr. McClure was a native of Cobb County and was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was also a member of the local chapter 72 of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. He was a graduate of Sprayberry High and served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Robbins McClure of Marietta; on son, Glenn McClure of Marietta; his mother, Linnie McClure Jones of Marietta; a sister, Mrs. Emory W. Chastain Jr. of Kennesaw; a brother, Paul McClure of Kennesaw; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Albert M. Dobbins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
