Army veteran
Robert T. "Bob" Thomas, 65, of Austell died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Milford Baptist Church, with the Rev. Chris LaRue officiating. The body will be at the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Thomas was retired from Atlantic Steel and an Army veteran. He was a member of Milford Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly D. Thomas ; five sons, Ronald E. White Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, Brian D. White of Memphis, Tenn., David E. Thomas of Reno, Nev., Michael T. Thomas of Douglasville and James K. Thomas of Marietta; one daughter, Kimberly White Doolittle of Birmingham, Ala.; one brother, Alfred Thomas of Marietta; nine grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.
Contributions may be made to Milford Baptist Church Youth Department.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Castellaw Funeral Home in Smyrna.
