Irvin F. Chambers, 43, 3395 Ebenezer Road, Marietta, died Tuesday.
Funeral Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at East Wood Baptist Church in Marietta with remains to lie in state from 1 p.m. until funeral hour. The Rev. Ed Coogler will officiate with burial in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery, Marietta. Cobb County Fire Department honor guards will be pallbearers and honorary escorts.
Chambers was a lifelong resident of Cobb County and a Cobb County fireman for the past 20 years. He was a member of East Wood Baptist Church.
Survivors include wife, Velma Chambers; daughter, Helen L. Chambers, Marietta; sons, Tony Frankliin and Brian Lee Chambers, both of Marietta; mother, Lucile Chambers of Marietta; sister, Frances E. Chambers, Marietta; brother; Leland C. Chambers, Kennesaw; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews.
Norman Medford Funeral Home, Marietta, is in charge of arrangements.
