May 14, 1936 - October 26 2016 Durene F. Ridenhour, 80, of Marietta passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016. A funeral service will be held 11 am Monday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Powder Springs Chapel, 3940 Macland Rd., Powder Springs, GA 30127. Please make a special note family will receive friends from 2:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Historic Marietta Chapel, 180 Church Street, Marietta, GA 30060. Mrs. Ridenhour was born in Cleveland, Tennessee. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Marietta. She retired after 15 years as a secretary for Lockheed Martin. Survivors include her sons, Thomas W. Fields of Woodstock and J. Steven Fields of Marietta; three daughters, Laurie Darko of Hubbard, Ohio, Melissa Cornwall of Rome, GA and Sarah Shephard of Kennesaw; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
